It is the vision of Reachway Church for the facility and grounds that God has giving it to steward be purposed for the betterment, enjoyment, and flourishing of the neighborhood and city. This includes providing a covered picnic and recreation space, hosting various community events, and continuing to become a physical space where neighbors can spend time together with the family and friends.

The next time you are in the neighborhood, be sure to spend a few moments relaxing or enjoying a meal under the pavilion in the ‘backyard’ of the North Valley Commons! (tables and benches available upon request for specific gatherings)

Conversations That Matter

The North Valley Commons serves as the host site for the Conversations That Matter dialogue series, which are organized panel discussions around various important and under-talked about issues facing Peoria, IL.

 

Neighborhood Dinner

Neighborhood Dinners are regularly scheduled potluck-style meals where people come together to share good food and friendly conversation. Click here for more info.

Street Family Hub

The Street Family Hub is a supportive space (coming Fall of 2023) designed to provide basic human needs for the local unhoused population of Peoria, IL. Click here for more info.

 

The North Valley Commons is available for rent for various events and gatherings. Although there are rental fees involved, they are set to be very affordable. For more information and to begin the rental application process, click here and fill out and submit the online form (be sure to include your interest in renting the space).
