We are working to increase care for our unhoused neighbors.
The Street Family Hub is a supportive space designed to provide basic human needs for the local unhoused population of Peoria, IL. Through the efforts of partner organizations and volunteers, The Hub will serve as a one-stop-shop for our unhoused neighbors to take a shower, get dressed in clean clothes, eat nutritious and filling food, and spend time in a safe space with one another.
This bathroom will provide an opportunity for healthy and safe hygine practices, where guests can have water at whatever temperature they want, have the space to themselves, and not feel rushed.
This common area will provide our Street Family with a comfortable environment to eat, rest, and enjoy one another’s company.
This kitchen will provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy foods that nourish their bodies and give them energy to go about their days.

Funds given to the Street Family Hub with go towards covering operational costs, tangible goods (food, clothes, etc.), and other needs which may arise.
